Protection of your personal data

PAGED Plywood S.A. and Paged Pisz Sp. z o.o. make every effort to ensure that the personal data of customers and contractors are processed in accordance with the law and secured using the latest technologies. We are also committed to operating in an open and transparent manner. That is why we have prepared this page for you, which contains the most important information regarding the processing of personal data and issues related to the protection of your privacy.

Principles of personal data protection

PAGED Plywood S.A. and Paged Pisz Sp. z o.o. collect and process your personal data in accordance with the provisions of the GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation). Therefore, PAGED Plywood S.A. and Paged Pisz Sp. z o.o.:

  • process your personal data lawfully, fairly and transparently (principles of lawfulness, fairness and transparency);
  • collect and process your personal data for specific, explicit and legitimate purposes and never continue processing data in a manner incompatible with those purposes (principle of purpose limitation);
  • collect and process only data that is necessary to achieve a specific purpose (principle of data minimization);
  • make every effort to ensure that your data is always accurate and up to date (principle of accuracy); do not process your personal data for longer than is necessary to achieve a specific purpose (principle of processing limitation);
  • process your data in a manner that ensures appropriate security of personal data, including protection against unauthorized or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction or damage, using appropriate technical or organizational measures (integrity and confidentiality principle);
  • take all measures to be able to demonstrate compliance with the provisions of the GDPR (accountability principle).

Only authorized employees or associates have direct access to personal data processed by the companies. In addition, personal data may be made available to competent public authorities in connection with their activities, to which they are required by law, as well as to entities that support the above-mentioned companies in achieving the purposes of data processing.

PAGED Plywood S.A. and Paged Pisz Sp. z o.o. require their subcontractors and suppliers who process personal data on their behalf to process it in accordance with the above principles and the provisions of the GDPR. External entities have access to personal data only on the basis of personal data processing agreements or other regulations allowing the transfer of personal data.

Detailed information on the processing of your personal data

In accordance with Article 13(1) and (2) of the GDPR In accordance with Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016, on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter referred to as the GDPR), we inform you that:

3) Your personal data will be processed on the basis of:

i) Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR for the purpose and to the extent necessary to receive marketing materials informing you about the services offered by the Controllers in accordance with your consent, which you may withdraw at any time,
j) Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR for the purpose and to the extent necessary to handle your request and take steps to conclude a contract between the Controllers and you,
k) Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR for the purpose and to the extent necessary to fulfill the legal obligations incumbent on the Controllers,
l) Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR for the legitimate interest of the Controllers consisting in marketing the goods and services offered by the Controllers, as well as for the purpose of establishing, defending and pursuing potential claims, and for purposes related to responding to inquiries sent via the contact form;

4) your personal data will not be disclosed, except where such disclosure is required by applicable law;

5) your personal data will not be transferred to a third country/international organization;

6) your personal data will be stored until the purpose of its processing ceases to exist or until you withdraw your consent to its processing;

7) you have the right to access your personal data, the right to rectify, delete or limit the processing of your data, the right to object to the processing of your data, and the right to transfer your data, i.e. to receive your personal data from the Data Controllers in a structured, commonly used machine-readable format (you may send this data to another data controller – the right to data portability does not apply to data that constitutes a trade secret);

8) you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of your consent prior to its withdrawal;

9) you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority responsible for personal data protection if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the provisions of the GDPR;

10) the provision of personal data is voluntary, but necessary for the proper addressing and handling of the matter you have reported using the form;

11) Your personal data will not be subject to automated processing or profiling.
