Pisz, 14 July 2025 – PAGED Plywood – a leading producer of specialist plywood in Europe – has been honoured with the prestigious Polish Intelligent Development Award 2025. The award is granted to companies and institutions that uniquely combine modernity with responsibility, technology with ecology, and innovation with the real needs of the economy.
The recognition for PAGED acknowledges the consistent strategy of investment in research, development, and sustainable production – implemented, among others, through its own R&D centre Paged LabTech and the launch of breakthrough products such as RockPly® or GreenPly, which recently received NAF certification (formaldehyde-free) from the California Air Resources Board, known as CARB.

During the Forum, Ewelina Depczyńska, Director of R&D and CEO of Paged LabTech, presented a talk entitled: “Paged RockPly® – a breakthrough fusion of nature and technology. How the latest scientific achievements grow business”, as part of the panel “Industry 5.0 – ecology, people, crisis resilience”. RockPly® is twice as durable as the previously used birch plywood and is intended for truck trailer flooring, stage platforms or construction applications.

The award motivates us to continue pursuing sustainable progress, supporting research, implementing advanced technologies and creating solutions that respond to real societal and economic needs,”
